Stop Avoiding Stuff: 25 Microskills to Face Your Fears and Do It Anyway – Matthew Boone, Jennifer Gregg, and Lisa Coyne

Love this book and want to just carry it around with me to take out whenever I’m avoiding something!

‘Stop Avoiding Stuff’ addresses humans avoidance of things that create discomfort, and offers skills to help break the avoidance cycle and live a life that is more enriching and meaningful. This book is easy to read, and provides small actions to take in order to focus on what matters, instead of letting fear and avoidance get in the way.

Imposter No More: Overcome Self-Doubt and Imposterism to Cultivate a Successful Career – Jill Stoddard

Jill Stoddard has done it again with her book ‘Imposter No More.’ There were so many times throughout the book that I found myself saying “yes!” or shaking my head at just how relatable it was. Jill addresses the science behind imposterism, along with so many ideas to practice psychological flexibility and shift the way we relate to our imposterism (including my very favorite ‘turning fog thoughts into cloud thoughts’ …LOVE that). The moment I finished the book, I went right online and ordered it for a friend.

Set Boundaries, Find Peace – Nedra Tawwab

Nedra Glover Tawwab does an amazing job describing what boundaries are, how boundary issues may be presenting in your life, and ways to establish and maintain consistent healthy boundaries in different areas of your life. So many “aha” moments in this book.

Be Mighty – Jill Stoddard

Dr. Jill Stoddard’s book is one that I have recommended to so many women. The beautiful mix of compassion, humor, and wisdom in this book is refreshing and empowering. As I read, I continued to have to put the book down again and again so I could jot down thoughts and ideas in my journal… It was one of those books that you want to read slower because you really don’t want it to end.

Find Your Unicorn Space: Reclaim Your Creative Life in a Too-Busy World – Eve Rodsky

Eve Rodsky’s Find Your Unicorn Space allows readers to explore their creativity and to consider how to implement more of that creativity & joy into their everyday (sometimes very busy) lives.

I love this book for so many reasons, but mostly what it has done for me is reminded me that I am a person who has wants and needs outside of the people around me, and it is MORE than okay to nurture those desires!

Wolfpack – Abby Wambach

“Be grateful. But do not JUST be grateful. Be grateful AND brave. Be grateful AND ambitious. Be grateful AND righteous. Be grateful AND persistent. Be grateful AND loud. Be grateful for what you have AND demand what you deserve.” -Abby Wambach

We already know that Abby Wambach is amazing (and if you didn’t know, now you do), but her book is truly incredible. It is empowering and inspires confidence and leadership.

Break the Good Girl Myth – Majo Molfino

Majo Molfino addresses the myths that women have lived with throughout their lives being taught to be “good.” She provides so many ideas and insights into how to design and live life on your terms. Such a great and empowering read!
